A MUM has come up with a very clever way of preventing kids from getting bored during the school holidays – and any parent can copy.
The savvy woman revealed how she has written a range of activities on lollipop sticks and all she has to do is select one at random each day.
Taking to Facebook, she wrote: “Not sure if you can read my writing but I've made these, that I'm naming The Sticks Of Destiny.
“Red activities cost money, blue are craft ideas, green are outdoors&free/minimal costs and purple are indoor&free/minimal costs.”
She shared a photo of the activity ideas, with craft ideas including face painting and rock painting.
Meanwhile, other ideas include going to the beach, going for a picnic, making playdough, doing a treasure hunt and watching a film.
The colour coordinated sticks also help for times if money is tight, as she can easily select the free purple sticks to save some cash.
The free ideas include playing with Lego, reading a book and doing makeovers.
That’s one great way to keep boredom at bay!
Attend Fabulous’ FREE Girls’ Night In & be in with a chance of winning a £500 beauty goodie bag
Next week, we'll be throwing our first ever Fabulous Girls Night In – and who else would we get to co-host the event than Vicky Pattison herself?!
Our beauty editor Tara Ledden will be chatting to the Queen of the Jungle all about her makeup regime and the products she just couldn't live without.
As they talk all things beauty, Tara and Vicky will also be trying out 2021's top products – as voted by YOU in this year's Fabulous Beauty Awards.
Better still, the event is completely FREE to attend – and as it's virtual, tuning in while you're mid-pamper and in your PJs is actively encouraged.
And if that wasn't enough, all attendants will be in with a chance of winning one of 10 beauty goodie bags worth an eye-watering £500.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up to this completely free girly pamper evening here.
