MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have cut another tie with Britain after dissolving their UK-based Sussex Royal firm.

Companies House documents show that the couple has instructed a voluntary liquidator to wind up the charity, which they renamed MWX last year.

According to the documents, the Duke and Duchess first entered a “special resolution” request for MWX Trading on 4 May, before appointing the voluntary liquidator.

It will take up to 10 days to process but it is the latest signal which suggests they will not be returning to the UK after settling in California.

Their decision to dissolve the charity comes just a day after Meghan and Harry were seen beaming together in a new video clip for the Duke of Sussex’s mental health series with Oprah Winfrey.

Harry, 36, teamed up with the US chat show powerhouse for the upcoming documentary The Me You Can’t See.

The first trailer for the series, which begins later this week, was released yesterday – featuring new footage of Meghan and Harry together.

BEA’S BABY JOY – NEWS ANNOUNCED ON WEDDING ANNIVERSARY ‘TO SPITE MEGHAN & HARRY’

Rumours are “swirling” with unconfirmed claims that Meghan Markle is upset over the timing of Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy news, reports the Mail Online.

Studio 10 presenter Sarah Harris yesterday suggested the news might have been “announced to spite Meghan and Harry, because it was their third wedding anniversary”.

She asked on the Australian morning talk show: “Do you think Beatrice would be thinking about that [Meghan] when she’s making the announcement?”

“No she wouldn’t, she’d be happy that she’s having a child and so is everyone else,” co-host Tristan MacManus replied.

“No one is thinking about anything,” he added.

SUSSEXES’ TITLES ‘CAN’T BE REMOVED WITHOUT GOVERNMENT’S GREEN LIGHT’ – EXPERT

Should the Queen or Prince Charles push for the removal of the Sussexes’ titles, it wouldn’t happen automatically, says a constitutional expert.

Prof Thomas Pool, London School of Economics, told i news: “The monarch is not the guardian of the constitution, and all major decision are routed through parliament.”

He pointed out that the Queen can’t remove titles of peerage, for example, which can only be achieved via statute, and passed by both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, before receiving royal assent.

But, it would be an “interesting scenario” if the couple were convinced they should renounce their titles.

Even then, that decision would still need to go through parliament for official approval, he said.

HARRY SHOULD KEEP DUKE OF SUSSEX TITLE 'BECAUSE OF SERVICE FOR BRITAIN AND CHARITY WORK'

The Duke of Sussex should keep his title despite controversially slamming the royal family, because of his "service for the country", says an expert.

Reputation management specialist Nick Davies told i news: "Prince Harry has been a key part of the Royal Family for his entire life.

"And one would think it is fair for him and Meghan to keep a ceremonial title, particularly due to his long history of service for the country and his charity work.

"It's a brand new road for the royals to tread, so it will be tricky to an extent.

"While officially they are a separate entity, they are still family and that needs to be made clear."

PRINCE CHARLES ‘COULD REMOVE MEGHAN & HARRY’S TITLES’

Prince Charles could try to remove Meghan and Harry’s titles once he becomes king, warns a royal expert.

Ingrid Seward, royal biographer and editor of Majesty magazine, told i news that the topic of titles is a ‘minefield’.

She said it was unlikely that the Queen would remove the pair’s Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.

Seward added: “I feel it would not be something the Queen would want to undertake at this stage of her reign.

“Perhaps Charles would remove all titles from his son when he becomes king.”

    WHAT HAPPENED AT EUGENIE’S WEDDING?

Princess Beatrice has revealed her pregnancy – on the same day that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marked their wedding anniversary, three years after they did the same at Eugenie’s wedding.

A Buckingham Palace statement said yesterday: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.

“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

Royal expert and author Duncan Larcombe told The Sun the timing was “not a simple oversight”.

Meghan famously announced she was expecting baby Archie on the day of Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie’s, wedding. Meghan’s declaration was said to have left Eugenie and Sarah Ferguson “furious” and Harry “embarrassed”.

PRINCE HARRY TOLD TO ‘LEARN FROM HIS GRANDMA’

Outspoken Australian TV host Karl Stefanovic has urged Prince Harry to stop “whining about his childhood” after he accused Prince Charles of subjecting him to “genetic pain” in a podcast.

The Nine’s Today show host said: “I’m just saying it’s ridiculous how he keeps whining about his childhood. He grew up in privilege – in a palace. I mean, just give it a rest, bro.

“He looks happier, too, when he was partying in Vegas, I’m just saying.

“The guy doesn’t need to go from his mansion and start rabbiting on about how hard life is when he has got enormous privilege, and to keep bagging his family.

“Just get on with it. Just get on with it. Take a lesson out of the Queen’s book and just get on with it. Carry on. I’m not saying anything more about that… it’s really riled me.”

‘VERY UNLIKELY’ SUSSEXES WOULD LOSE TITLES – EXPERT

It’s “very unlikely” that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would lose their titles, despite their controversial – and very public – criticism of Prince Harry’s family, says an expert.

Prof Thomas Poole, who specialises in UK constitutional law at the London School of Economics, told i news: “To get political and parliamentary buy-in to take action on Harry and Meghan’s titles, the Queen would need something close to unanimity among the politicians and the public.”

He said it was “very unlikely that decision-makers, including the Queen and her advisers, would consider going down this route”.

HARRY & MEG ‘HYPOCRITICAL’ WITH ‘CEASELESS NEED FOR EXPOSURE’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “ceaseless need for exposure” is hypocritical when they beg for privacy, a royal expert has said.

Meghan and Harry have faced huge media attention from around the world after stepping down as senior royals and moving to LA.

However, the couple have signed deals with Netflix and Spotify – and continue to do high-profile interviews despite their desire for a life out of the spotlight.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told the Sun Online: “His opening up in the past as a form of therapy has been beneficial to others. But why does he do it so publicly now? Why bare your soul in this way and to what end?

“The need for this ceaseless exposure to the media is obviously hypocritical for a couple who are supposedly obsessed with privacy.”

'NEGATIVE UK PRESS GOOD FOR HARRY AND MEGHAN' – PR EXPERT

Negative press in the UK has helped boost the Sussexes' celeb status in America, according to a PR guru.

Reputation expert, Simon Wadsworth, of Igniyte, told i news: "I don't see their royal titles as massively important… because they clearly have well-known public personas.

"The more negative UK press they receive, I can only see that generating more sympathy from their targeted audience in the US."

PRINCE CHARLES SHARES VIDEO MESSAGE WITH SWEET SNAP OF THE QUEEN, WILLIAM AND GEORGE… BUT NO PRINCE HARRY

PRINCE Charles has shared a video message with a sweet snap of the Queen, William and George behind him – but not Prince Harry.

Charles, 72, gave a video message of support to an Australian charity from his office, with a single framed photo of himself and members of the Royal Family in the shot.

Charles spoke to the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees conference in Adelaide in a pre-recorded video. The Prince of Wales has been seen taking video calls from his offices at Birkhall or Highgrove during the pandemic.

Often a collection of family photos are seen behind him, including pictures of Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, with their son Archie.

Today, however, the Sussexes and their son were absent from the photo positioned behind Charles.

HARRY AND MEGHAN NEIGHBOUR SAY MONTECITO ‘IS LIKE A TINDER BOX’

A local source, who lives close to Harry and Meghan, told The Sun they are extremely worried and described the whole region as a “tinder box”.

“The Sussexes’ place is right in the firing line, unfortunately,” they said.

“They live in the foothills of Montecito where there are hundreds of stands of eucalyptus that tend to explode because they’re full of oil, rather than merely burn.

“A lot of people in our neighborhood are on edge, worried sick about how bad this fire season will be.

“People who’ve just moved to the area won’t realize how bad it’s looking, but it’s about as bad as it can be. It’s just so dry, aside from all the rich people’s lush lawns, of course.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have cut another tie with Britain after dissolving their UK-based Sussex Royal firm.

Companies House documents show that the couple has instructed a voluntary liquidator to wind up the charity, which they renamed MWX last year.

MEG AND HARRY MOVED TO MONTECITO ‘TO BE TREATED LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE’

The Montecito Fire Department declared May 3 the start of high fire season – two weeks early.

Santa Barbara County Fire also revealed the 2020/21 season yielded just 47 per cent of the normal rainfall.

Captain Daniel Bertucelli from the department told The Sun: “We have been in drought-like conditions for quite some time, nobody has a crystal ball as to how it’s going to play out.

“I heard Prince Harry and Meghan moved up here, the fire department doesn’t give any preferential treatment to celebrities, every single person in our community is 100 per cent equal. And from what I’ve read, that’s exactly why they moved here, to be treated just like normal people, they can follow all the same advice we have been giving others ahead of this season.”

PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN’S $14.7M MONTECITO HOME UNDER THREAT OF ‘SEVERE WILDFIRES’ WITH NEIGHBORS ‘WORRIED SICK’

PRINCE Harry and Meghan’s $14.7million home is at risk of “severe wildfires” with neighbors “worried sick” after one of the one of the driest rainfall years in the last decade, The Sun can exclusively reveal.

The royal couple, who relocated from Britain to sunny California last year, bought a stunning home in a celebrity enclave in Montecito, where they live with their two-year-old son, Archie.

With Meghan heavily pregnant, they may end up evacuating with their newborn daughter, their toddler son and beloved pets, after officials delivered a stark warning this month.

Christina Favuzzi, Montecito Fire Public Information Officer, exclusively told The Sun homeowners such as Meghan and Harry should prepare for the worst.

She said: “We are facing concerning conditions in terms of record-low fuel moistures and predicted weather patterns. Those factors could lead to a severe fire season. On [Meghan and Harry’s road] and in all areas of the Montecito Fire Protection District, we have been conducting extensive wildfire prevention work in order to educate, prepare and protect our community.

“By this time last year, Montecito had received more than 17 inches of rain, according to the Santa Barbara County Flood Control District, marking an average rainfall year. So far in 2021, our community has received about 10 inches of rain, making this one of the driest rainfall years in the last decade.”

PRINCE HARRY’S SOURCES HAVE ANOTHER DIG AT CHARLES SAYING PODCAST PARENTING MOANS ‘NO DIFFERENT TO WHAT HIS DAD DID’

PRINCE Harry’s sources have had another dig at Charles – saying the Duke of Sussex’s moans about parenting are no different to his dad’s criticism of his own parents.

Harry, 36, blasted 72-year-old Charles’s parenting and said he moved to California to “break the cycle of pain” for his wife Meghan in an explosive podcast chat last week.

Harry claimed his dad “suffered” due to his upbringing by the Queen and Philip, then “treated me the way he was treated”.

Sources close to Harry pointed out to the Telegraph that Charles had spoken about his own unhappy relationship with his parents in a 1994 biography.

In ‘The Prince of Wales: A Biography’, Charles described feeling like an outsider in the Royal Family.
