Red is definitely Kate Hudson’s color. On Jan. 8, the actor and red carpet veteran stunned in a bright, cherry-colored gown for Netflix’s Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice nominee toast to celebrate the many nominations “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” secured this award season. Featuring a one-shoulder neckline, side cutouts, and a dramatic thigh-high slit, Hudson’s Michael Kors Collection dress came straight from the spring/summer 2023 runway.

The asymmetric hemline and uneven cutouts made for a unique silhouette that Hudson pulled off with ease. In collaboration with stylist Sophie Lopez, the mom of three accessorized with matching red Christian Louboutin heels and a sparkly chain necklace from Zydo. The Fabletics founder has a longstanding relationship with Kors and has worn the designer on numerous occasions, including at the 2021 Met Gala.

Hudson, who recently confirmed she was releasing new music soon, has been booked and busy making her rounds on the “Glass Onion” press circuit, wearing one stunning look after another. She kicked off the tour wearing a sheer, two-tone Saint Laurent dress at the Netflix film’s premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in October. More recently, she posed for a British Vogue photo shoot released on Jan. 7 in a striking sheer Coperni dress with a plunging halter neckline. At the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Jan. 6, Hudson wore a belted Huishan Zhang gown in a beautiful pink hue.

While she’s sported a series of show-stopping looks, Hudson’s latest ensemble may be her most standout yet. Get a closer view of the fiery-red cutout dress ahead.
