A WOMAN who splashed out on a North Face jacket was left disappointed, and really wet, when it didn't live up to its tag.

Jenn explained that she'd purchased what she'd thought was a "rain jacket", with the tag stating that it was "waterproof".

"Well listen, I'm 100% sure that it's raining outside and I'm soaking wet," she said, as she was visibly drenched.

"Listen – I don't want a refund," she addressed North Face in the TikTok video.

"I want you to redesign this raincoat to make it waterproof and express deliver it up to the top of Hooker Valley Lake in New Zealand, where I will be waiting.

"I'll be the only one up here looking like a drowned rat.

After posting the video, Jenn got an epic response from North Face, which she shared in another clip.

"I know a lot of you have been waiting for an update to the North Face raincoat disaster video, and I have a pretty incredible update to give you," she said.

"After that video went absolutely viral on TikTok, North Face's marketing team ended up seeing it, and so today they flew me in a helicopter to the top of a mountain in New Zealand and gave me new rain gear.

"They filmed the entire thing, and the video will be posted on their TikTok page, I believe, tomorrow.

"But it was an absolutely crazy and unexpected adventure.

"I originally posted that video because when I buy a product, especially a hiking product, I expect it to do what it says it's going to do.

"And on that rainy day, that jacket did not.

"At the end of the day, I'm just a girl who got drenched on a hike who's giving this company the second chance they asked for to redeem themselves.

"But at this point, the ultimate test will be if the new rain gear they gave me at the top of that mountain will hold up to the very high bar that North Face has now set for themselves.

"I guess time will tell.

"And I guess you'll just have to stay tuned for my next rainy day hike to find out."

"Well done north face for picking it up and doing their best to remedy it," one person commented on the video.

"Awesome wholesome news! Well done North Face!" another added.

"That's awesome…God Bless You!!" a third wrote.
