WANT to update your home but not sure where to start?

Well it turns out you don't need to break the bank to add a bit of luxury to your space.

Interior designer Phoenix Grey took to TikTok to share a few simple ways anyone can upgrade their home for less.

According to the pro you don't need to spend a fortune to elevate your space.

"As an interior designer I've worked on renovations from no budget to incredible budgets, but these are my favourite tips that will work with any budget," he explained.

The first thing you can do to make your home look more posh is get your hands on some coffee table books.

"Yes, coffee table books an be extremely expensive, but go to second had stores and vintage shops – you would be amazed by how many people disregard coffee table books in almost pristine condition.

You can that stack the books on your little coffee table for a swanky look that appears loads more expensive than it is.

The next thing you can do to update your home is have a "catch-all for keys in your entry and have somewhere to place your bag," Phoenix explained.

You can buy fancy trinket dishes and hooks for this, but you don't need to spend a lot of money to get the same look.

"Even a nice dish or flatware just to have something to organise them will really up your game," he added.

The next thing you can switch up to elevate your home is swap your old plates and bowls for matching ones.

You can usually grab matching sets for not a lot of money in supermarkets.

But it's always worth checking second hand shops as well, since there are often complete sets on sale for next to nothing.

Viewers loved the simple tips and couldn't wait to use some of them in their own homes.
