A BEAUTY fanatic was left stunned after discovering she could use wrapping paper as lipstick – but not everyone's convinced.
Jasmine Chiswell, originally from Carluke, Lanarkshire, now lives in LA and works as an influencer after making her name as a Marilyn Monroe lookalike.
In a recent TikTok video for her nearly 17million followers, the mum of one grabbed a roll of colourful, tie dye striped wrapping paper for a bizarre beauty hack.
The 29-year-old sprayed water over the paper before running her finger along the colour she wanted, red.
Jasmine then held up her hand to the camera, showing the ink on her fingers, and rubbed it onto her lips.
Showing off the results in her video, she gushed: "I still can’t believe it works and looks so nice."
Her video has racked up more than 967,000 views since it was posted last week.
But beauty fans have been left seriously divided by the trick.
Many are loving it, as one gushed: "This is too cute to handle."
A second revealed: :I tried it, I love it."

Meanwhile, a fellow fan gushed: "She’s literally the queen of lipstick."
Others have questioned if ingredients in the paper ink could be bad for Jasmine, who is pregnant with her second child.
And some have insisted it's giving "prison makeup life hack".
Another joked: "Women in jail do this with magazines lol."
While a third agreed: "For real, that’s jail makeup don’t ask me how I know."
It's not the first time Jasmine has given an unusual beauty hack a go.
We told earlier how she was compared to Marge Simpson after trying a 3p DIY lip filler trick.
The method – which involves stuffing your mouth with cotton wool – didn’t lead to the outcome Jasmine was expecting and left her uncomfortable.
She said: “This might be the most disgusting thing ever."
