A BEAUTY fan has been left devastated after a lengthy trip to the salon proved to be a complete fail.

The beauty fan said she was excited to get balayage hair but things took a turn for the worse.

Cathy shared her balayage disaster in a TikTok video online.

She said: “Went and got my hair balayage today thinking it was going to be a great hair transformation.”

In total the beauty fan was in the chair for six and a half hours and went through not one, but two rounds of bleach.

She said: “Second round bleach and tone, then blow dry, cut and style. Total 6.5 hours.”

Cathy said the back of her hair in particular looked terrible and is now damaged.

“The back of my head is awful. You can see the line of demarcation. Doesn't look natural or blend,” she said.

Cathy admitted the ‘toxic’ hair experience had her in tears.

She said: “Had a meltdown after I got home from my sisters. This sucked.”
