A MUM has revealed how she managed to bag £200 of Marks and Spencer's food for just £19.99.

Single mum Jo, who posts under @thismumcooks, shared how this included picking up a whopping 56 items.

Jo shared how M&S were having a huge discount on sweet and pantry items – and she’s stocked up already for Christmas.

In a video which has racked up over 66,000 likes, Jo said: “The reason I managed to find out about it was pure luck.

“My daughter was in there this morning on her way to school and rang me to say they had some really good offers on sweets.”

Jo headed there immediately and was amazed by what she found.

She added: “I’ve literally got Christmas sorted for all of our buddies but also some things for packed lunches.”

Among her haul were three packets of rice cakes which were 14p each, six packets of strawberry-coated rice cakes for 23p for the kids’ lunch boxes, 40p Horlicks and four boxes of 56p salted caramel biscuits.

Jo also showed how she got another four boxes of double chocolate cookies for 46p.

She added: “These ones are alright until January 23 next year so they are perfect for Christmas and when people come round.”

Next up were two boxes of 38p latte sachets, which she “absolutely loves”, and 38p hot chocolate for the kids, which worked out at 4p per drink.

Jo also found 50p honey jars that were originally £5 each.

What was even “crazier” was that they were in a four for three deal as well, so she only paid £1.50 for four jars.

Another bargain Jo snapped up were 25p cake boxes which used to be £2.50.

Although she said she usually “makes her own cakes”, she added that you “just can’t go wrong” with that price.

And one of her best wins was a box of biscuits that used to be £7 but was now 70p, so she picked up three.

At the end of her haul, Jo concluded: “I am so set up for Christmas presents, it was the most amazing shop.

“I did not clear the shelves, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.”
