Having first launched their collaborative collection in 2017, developed to revolutionize contemporary fashion on the theme of British classics, UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON continue their long-standing partnership for Spring/Summer 2021.

Following on from their FW20 range, London-based designer Jonathon Anderson channels his passion for artisanal craft onto UNIQLO’s LifeWear pieces. Combining his take on traditional British apparel with the Japanese retailer’s commitment to fit, materials and functionality — the expansive range of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear garments boasts a playful take on summer staples. Speaking on “Highlighting hope for new beginnings and brighter days” with this latest collection, Jonathon Anderson says “I was really thinking of Spring when I was working on this collection. We were all staying inside and I was looking forward to when we could venture out again. I also wanted to incorporate a feeling of craft, as it’s very important to me.”

The collection is comprised of a selection of relaxed-fit garments including T-shirts, work shirts, blouses as well as an array of denim offerings, hats and tote bags. With a focus on seasonal botanicals, homespun linen blends, slub cotton and wildflower embroidery accents add to JW ANDERSON’s signature craftsmanship story. Bohemian smocking adorns the women’s dresses and skirts whereas the cool linen and seersucker lighten the impact of the khaki, brown and ivory color palette, providing an airy alternative.

UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON’s SS21 collection is now available to purchase globally from UNIQLO’s website.
