The Elder Statesman has returned with its latest collection for the Holiday 2022 season. Unveiled at Dragon Elysées in Paris, the new body of work envisions a future in harmony with nature.
Helmed by creative director Bailey Hunter, the collection was inspired by neo-noir films and solarpunk science fiction. Situated in Paris 8th arrondissement, the presentation came to life through artists and musicians like Dani Bumba, Kiri-Una Brito Meumann, Bruno Made, Bom Marlich and more who donned the brand’s latest ensembles.
Just like previous collections, the new work from The Elder Statemen builds on its philosophy of fusing elevated craftsmanship and quality with natural materials. As such, knitwear pieces like cashmere sweaters, multicolored dusters, coordinating sets, crewneck sweaters and more served as a collection focal point. But a highlight of the vivid multicolored pieces is an elongated shawl neck cardigan with wavy stripes in pollen, pear green, deep sea blue and mahogany.
Elsewhere in the collection are cashmere utility vests, pajama sets, deadstock cashmere knee-high boots and a cotton tie-dye set.
