St. Petersburg rapper Rod Wave has announced that he’ll be putting out a new LP entitled Nostalgia next month. Over the years, the 24-year-old artist has become known for helping to define the new genre of soul trap, incorporating soulful melodies with contemporary beats.

Slated to arrive on September 15, Nostalgia will follow last year’s Beautiful Mind and 2021’s SoulFly. On his last record, Wave teamed up with Jack Harlow and December Joy for guest features. Prior to that, he collaborated with Polo G, Kodak Black and Lil Durk.

Wave returned with a new single on Friday, “Call Your Friends.” He didn’t elaborate on if the track would appear on Nostalgia.

Rod Wave’s fifth studio album Nostalgia is out everywhere on September 15.

In other music news, Lil Durk released the hard hitting anthem “F*ck U Thought.”
