Razer has just teamed up with Hong Kong’s Clearbot for an update on the sustainability startup’s ocean-cleaning robot.
Announced during World Oceans Day, Clearbot’s mini boat-like auto trash collector was given a full makeover with the help of Razer, and the result is something that definitely gets extra points in the style department. Now looking more like a mini luxury speedboat, the Clearbot has been streamlined, painted in gloss black, and given the full green triple-headed snake branding.
The solar-powered Clearbot is able to detect marine plastic within two meters of rough water using AI and machine learning where it then collects the pieces in its cage (each robot can collect up to 250Kg on a single mission and up to one ton per day). Head over to Razer to learn more.
