Hirokazu Goh’s label NICENESS has unveiled its latest editorial story that blends the Fall/Winter 2021 and Spring/Summer 2022 collections. Titled “Journey to Pen y Fan,” the story is comprised of contemplative, yet warm visuals that illustrate the lasting beauty of nature.
Local surroundings whether that be city or country have always been crucial to NICENESS’ brand ethos. Inspired by Francis Bacon, the FW21 collection discusses humanity’s coexistence with nature, while the SS22 collection details the multidimensionality of culture through travel. Produced by London-based photographer PICZO, the editorial story communities the desire for fellowship and post-pandemic unity.
Following a road trip journey from London to Pen y Fan in Brecon Beacons National Park, the collection champions elevated simplicity with its relaxed aesthetic that features a range of jackets, wool pants, printed button-down shirts, geometric gilets, knitwear and more. The collection is washed in several natural tones like wheat brown, tan, charcoal gray, sunset orange, navy blue and black. Serving as a collection highlight, relaxed pants are elevated by different fabrics and printed designs.
