New Balance‘s Flimby, U.K. factory has taken a break from its signature 1500s and 991s to craft a colorful take on the 577. Featuring a navy blue, red, white and gray color scheme that’s equal parts sporty and patriotic, this new 577 supplies an ample dose of elevated summertime style.

Signature gray suede appears on the quarter panel, surrounding a reflective silver N logo with white trim. On the forefoot, this is bordered by more hi-vis reflective silver material and a navy suede mudguard. On the heel, it’s bolstered with an ENCAP-branded navy plastic overlay and a navy suede heel piece. The toebox, tongue and collar alike are built from white mesh, with a pop of red adding flair to the branded leather heel tab.

Final touches of detail up top are served by a tongue tag with repeating logos, gray laces and a dark gray TPU heel clip. Down below, the two-tone ENCAP midsoles acknowledged by the aforementioned upper branding work with black rubber outsoles to round off the look.

This made in the UK New Balance 577 is available via the New Balance webstore now. Its MSRP is set at $215 USD, a reflection of its premium quality and craftsmanship.
