Joe Jonas became emotional while performing Hesitate, a song he wrote for ex-wife Sophie Turner, at a recent Jonas Brothers show.
Following rumours of a split after pictures emerged of him without his wedding ring, Joe, 34, obtained a petition for dissolution of marriage in Miami Dade County, Florida, earlier this month.
Game of Thrones star Sophie, 27, then confirmed in a statement shared on social media that they were parting ways after four years of marriage.
Performing in LA on Saturday, Joe told the crowd at Dodger Stadium: ‘Thank you everyone for the love and support to me and my family, I love you guys.’
He then started to perform Hesitate, a song the singer previously confirmed was about Sophie, according to Today.
An audience member zoomed in on dad-of-two Joe as he sang, and a tear could clearly be seen rolling down his cheek.

Confirming their split, the A-list couple said in a joint statement: ‘After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
‘There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.’
They share daughter Willa, three, and a one-year-old little girl whose name has not been publicly revealed.
Actress Sophie has recently been in the UK, wrapping filming on her new ITV show Joan, about 1980s jewel thief Joan Hannington.
Joe and Sophie first began dating in 2016 and tied the knot three years later.
While they were engaged, the pair both appeared in the Jonas Brothers’ music video for their 2019 single Sucker, which reached number four in the UK charts.
Speaking about Sophie in November 2022, Joe referred to her as ‘the best acting coach ever’ after going to her for tips on how to improve his performances on stage and screen.
