South London-born fried chicken institution, Morley’s, has partnered with Heinz to create a month-long pop-up chicken shop in one of the UK capital’s most popular hotels, The Standard, with the duo showcasing an exclusive and elevated menu that combines the finest of delicacies with best-in-class fried chicken.
Launching from August 7 through to September 3, the Morley’s x Heinz collaboration will see Morley’s decades-old, family-owned chicken recipe reimagined and turbocharged to go alongside the new Morley’s x Heinz Fried Chicken Sauce. The new condiment has been blended by the sauce scientists at Heinz HQ and also developed in partnership with Morley’s to pair perfectly with fried chicken.
The Standard Hotel-held pop-up will welcome a selection of chicken shop classics and revamped specials, while guests can also enjoy chicken shop dates with a weekend brunch menu and takeout from The Standard. Highlighted inclusions from the new menu include the Pop Corn Chicken or cauliflower — which is served with a choice of sauces from Heinz Sweet Chilli to Smoky Chipotle — and Chicken Drumsticks with Caviar.
Deserts from the event will also include The Standard’s take on Morley’s hot apple pie, along with drinks in the form of a Frozen Mango Margarita with a spicy salt rim, boozy Coke Float, and Grape Soda with vodka, cinnamon, and lime.
