Hamilton has given its 2020 PSR digital watch a Matrix-themed makeover ahead of the release of “The Matrix Resurrections.”

The original digital watch, which debuted in 1970 and reappeared last year as the Hamilton PSR, is now available as the PSR MTX in stainless steel with an all-black PVD coating and green LCD and OLED hybrid display.

As well as using anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, the Hamilton PSR MTX also features the franchise’s familiar “digital rain” text pattern on its caseback and packaging.

The watch uses a digital quartz movement, is water resistant to 100m and is limited to 1,999 pieces, a reference to the year the original The Matrix was released.

This new fourth instalment sees the return of director Lana Wachowski, with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity.

The PSR MTX is out now via Hamilton, priced £900 GBP (approximately $1,200 USD).

Elsewhere in watches, Autodromo reunites with racing driver for second collaboration.
