After unveiling a trio of U.S. exclusive midsize 44GS watches, Grand Seiko has now added another new reference, the SBGW305 into its Elegance Collection lineup. Attired in the collection’s signature look, the new timepiece boasts classic appeal, elegant proportions, and sleek finishings.
However, what truly makes this release special is its beads-of-rice bracelet, an iconic component for Grand Seiko watches that by far, has only even been released in Japan. And so, this new release marks also marks the first time ever for the bracelet to be available on a watch that’s intended for the international clientele.
In line with the watchmaker’s “Grammar of Design” principles, the SBGW305 features a simple and understated sunray-brushed silver dial. Housed in a 37mm Zaratsu-polished stainless steel case, the dial is adorned with tonal applied indices and handset. At the heart of the reference beats the 72-power-reserve 9S64 manual-winding caliber, complete with 3 ATM water resistance.
Releasing in December, the SBGW305 will retail at a price point of $5,500 USD, available via Grand Seiko’s official website, boutiques, and authorized retailers.
Elsewhere in watches, Romain Gauthier launches its fifth Titanium C-series timepiece.
