Energy is high around the pgLang camp right now as Kendrick Lamar announced that his fifth studio album titled Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers is slated to arrive on May 13, and Baby Keem shut down the Coachella stage by bringing him out during his weekend two set. With anticipation looming over this highly-anticipated record, Dave Free — the multi-disciplinary company’s co-founder — is striking up even more excitement as he’s just teased the upcoming pgLang x Converse collaborations.

Free took to Twitter to show off a Converse Chuck Taylor Hi and Pro Leather Ox, both of which are fashioned in a similar color scheme. The former may look like a traditional white Chuck Taylor Hi from afar, but up close you’ll notice that the eyelets have been modified from the usual circular rings to metallic silver D-rings. Additionally, the exposed stitchings, along with the medial side One Star logos have been tinted with a beige hue, the latter of which sits below a “pgLang for” spell out. The Pro Leathers also feature the D-Ring lace loops and dressed with a monochromatic look. An off-white hue wraps the shoe from top to bottom, and “pgLang” comes debossed into the lateral panel.

Kendrick Lamar previously worked with Nike on a Cortez and React Element 55 team-ups, and this marks his first venture with Converse. Stay tuned for more info on this capsule.
