It’s true: Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s historic home based in Palisades, NY, that they shared in the 1990s is back on the market for a whopping $6.5 million. The town of Palisades has a bunch of current and former A-list residents like Bill Murray, Angelina Jolie, Björk, and Scarlett Johansson, to name a few. Recently, the home went through a huge $2.5 million restoration over the past five years that includes a bunch of repairs and a sophisticated security system to make the new occupants feel as safe as can be.

With three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, this 3,207 square feet farmhouse was built sometime before the Revolutionary War. Known as the Ding Dong House, there are three living spaces, four working fireplaces, and a beautiful porch with incredible views of the Hudson river.

Now, why was it called the Ding Dong House? Well, because it had an enormous bell on top of it that went mysteriously missing. This renowned home may be smaller than other mansions on the market, but it’s full of its original antiques, furnishings, a collection of Hudson River School art, and the first historical library in the area. Along with that, there’s a stunning outdoor kitchen, wild gardens, an outdoor shower, and a bunch of entertaining areas for the party of the year!
