Outdoors-influenced label Early Majority has debuted with its first collection, a nine-piece technical system that allow for transition between active, professional and social pursuits. All of the pieces in the collection are designed to be modular, with a particular focus on multi-functionality.

The nine items include a range of outerwear styles with various technical details including snorkel hoods, reflective tabs and built-in bags that can be detached using magnets. As well as traditional outdoors materials such as PERTEX Quantum and recycled ripstop, the collection uses goat leather and denim for some of the modular pieces.

Early Majority was founded by Joy Howard with the stated ambition of creating “technical outerwear for all eventualities and all genders” with a focus on gender equality within the outdoors industry. This approach also extends to its release programme, with a membership model that grants exclusive pricing and access, along with practical tools and resources for people who want to “Lean Out,” which is described by the label as demanding “time for activity, time for activism, time for creativity.”

The first collection is available now from the Early Majority website.
