Six years after the launch of the original game, survival horror game Dying Light 2 Stay Human has finally received an official release date, along with the first gameplay trailer offering fans a closer look at what’s to come later this year.
Set 15 years after the events of the first game, Dying Light 2 Stay Human takes place in an urban open-world environment called the City, located somewhere in Europe. Humanity is taking its final stand against the infected, and you’ll traverse this apocalyptic world in a fight for survival. As the gameplayer trailer — which you can watch above — shows, there’ll be plenty of brutal, close-up combat, parkour and platforming elements, as well as new narrative characters to interact with.
For fans of the franchise, Dying Light 2 Stay Human will launch on December 7 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. You can head over to the game’s official website to pre-order it or learn more.
Elsewhere in gaming, the 3.0 update for Monster Hunter Rise brings Crimson Glow Valstrax to the game.
