Do you want a pair of Nike Air Force 1s that double up as a pair of formal pumps? Then look no further than Mihara Yasuhiro‘s Spring/Summer 2022 sneakers, which combine the familiar sneaker design with pointed pumps and more.
The sneakers were first unveiled during its SS22 runway in June, and since disappeared from any kind of limelight. Now, however, the shoes have been officially unveiled by Mihara Yasuhiro, unapologetically looking like an AF1 thanks to their perforated toe box, sole unit, and collar strap.
Of course, some changes (aside from the pointed toe) have been made. Fat laces grace the tongue section, as does an “MMY” tongue tag. The sole unit also looks to be slightly lower in profile in comparison to their obvious counterparts, but the textured toe cap does remain.
For the mid-tops, Mihara Yasuhiro adds a strap that’s debossed with its “MMY” logo, while the low-tops look more like a pair of loafers if anything, sans-strap.
Mihara Yasuhiro will be dropping its pointed sneaker in a multitude of colorways in the spring of 2022. Take a closer look at the pairs above, and sound off below.
