Montblanc released its action-packed collaboration with Naruto last week commemorating 20 years of the anime series with a dedicated accessory collection. To put the Montblanc x Naruto collection to the test, Hypebeast follows a day in the life of illustrator and graphic designer Mr Lee Lives.

The animated capsule collection includes writing instruments, small leather bags and belts with Naruto’s iconic symbols and characters. It serves collector’s pieces to luxury lovers, anime superfans as well as style-conscious creatives like Mr. Lee Lives.

Stopping off for art supplies and heading to his London-based studio space, the artist takes the collection to new heights. He opts for the Montblanc sling bag – which he slots his mini sketchbook and Naruto Meisterstück fountain pen into – as well as the imprinted leather wallet to complete the streetwear get-up. Keeping him on time, Mr. Lee Lives also uses the ​​Summit 3 smart watch that features black and orange detailing.
