Deadpool has finally made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in one of the most unexpected of places: a trailer reaction video for Free Guy.

In a four-and-a-half-minute video uploaded by Ryan Reynolds himself on his YouTube channel, his now-iconic antihero sits down with Taika Waititi‘s Thor: Ragnarok character Korg to watch a new trailer for the upcoming comedy Free Guys, which actually features both the actors. The duo continues to make fun of both Marvel and Disney before Deadpool asks Korg how he can join the MCU.

Fortunately for fans of the R-rated franchise, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed previously that Deadpool will indeed get a third installment over at Marvel, and will remain true to its R-rated reputation. However, those interested might have to wait just a little longer for the film, as Feige also pointed out that Reynolds is incredibly busy and so production won’t begin until at least 2022.

As for Free Guy, Reynold’s latest comedy follows the life of a video game character in a GTA-esque world who one day suddenly becomes self-aware of his programming. Learning of the inconsequence of his actions and the false sense of reality, Reynolds goes off on a game-breaking adventure before finding himself at risk of being deleted by the game’s creator, played by Taika Waititi. Free Guy will hit theaters on August 13.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Kevin Feige says Black Panther: Wakanda Forever “will be extremely emotional.”
