On Feb. 3, 2021, country music star T.J. Osborne — the frontman of duo Brothers Osborne — publicly came out as a gay man in an interview with TIME magazine. The country community and Hollywood stars took to social media to react to the news, including T.J.’s bandmate and brother, John Osborne, and fellow country artist Dierks Bentley. “I’m very proud of my brother today. He’s taken one of the most important steps of his entire life and he’s doing it in front of the entire world. He’s always had my support no matter what. He will continue to have my support. It’s an honor to call him my brother. He’s a beautiful, amazing human being, so talented, so caring, so giving, and it’s an honor to have a member of my family be a member of the LGBTQIA community. Proud of you, T.J. Love you, man,” John said in an Instagram video. Added Dierks of T.J. on Twitter, “Love this guy right here. @brothersosborne.
