Chinese New Year is in full swing, and joining in on the celebrations is Reebok‘s newest Club C 85 sneaker. Served up in a “Classic White/Pale Yellow/Golden Bronze” colorway, the pair combines archetypical design cues with new additions that nod to the Year of the Ox such as a lace shroud and CNY iconography.

The “Classic White” leather upper appears in its usual form, while details such as the Reebok branding on the lateral mid-panel now sits alongside embroidery. Additionally, the branding on the heel has been embroidered using “Golden Bronze” thread, making the pair ever so slightly more regal-looking and special.

For the lace shroud, Reebok pairs its moniker with “Ox” labeling and depictions of the animal, the sun, and the moon. A similarly intricate pattern decorates the insole, depicting a small farm that even features Reebok’s logo emblazoned onto the side of the house. In contrast to this, you’ll find the EVA midsole tinted in “Pale Yellow” for a vintage, pre-worn look, and a brown rubber cupsole to round out the theme.
