Following its link-up with Rapha on the “cycling equivalent of a supercar” late last year, bike manufacturer Canyon has now unveiled two of its latest and most innovative e-bikes, in the Commuter:ON and Precede:ON.
Building on its existing Commuter series, the Commuter:ON houses a Fazua Evation drive system that’s lightweight enough to ensure the bike’s handling is identical to a traditional road bike. Despite its built-in lights, fenders and rear rack, a medium take weighs in at just 17.2kg, a far cry from the old school traditional e-bikes.
Arriving in three colors, the aluminium Commuter:ON comes in two different frame types in the Commuter:ON 7 and Commuter:ON 7 WMN, both of which retail at £3,299 (approximately $4,600 USD).

Similarly, with the Precede:ON Canyon’s designers and engineers made maximum functionality, everyday usability and state-of-the-art design their top priorities. Described by the label as “the bike of the future”, the Precede:ON boasts a carbon frame and a seamlessly incorporated Bosch motor and battery.
What’s more, its cables and wires are nearly hidden away, while a built-in Bosch Kiox display and specially integrated brake levers make the unified handlebar and stem the first of their kind. The Precede:ON is available in two different styles and retails from £3,999 (approximately $5,600 USD).
You can shop Canyon’s range of e-bikes via the brand’s online store, as well as via its Cyclescheme.
In other news, Albion has delivered its range of sustainable cycling gear for SS21.
