Billionaire businessman Jeff Bezos is engaged to his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, according to reports.

The Amazon head, 59, and media personality, 53, have been together since 2019, announcing their romance after Bezos’s divorce from his wife of almost 24 years, Mackenzie Scott, 53.

They’re currently soaking up the sun at Cannes Film Festival, enjoying their time on a flashy $500million (£402m) yacht – alright for some, eh?

And according to Page Six, they’re set to tie the knot, with Bezos getting down on one knee abord their Koru superyacht this weekend.

The outlet reports that rumours have been swirling for months that they are engaged, after Sanchez was spotted wearing a heart-shaped ring.

An insider has now told the publication that the rumours are true.

Sanchez has travelled the world with her other half, and hasn’t been shy in sharing how she feels about him.

In a January interview with WSJ. Magazine, she couldn’t speak highly enough of him.

‘He’s so happy, he inspires me every day, he makes me a better person every day,’ she told the outlet.

‘He’s the most loving human I know.’

That same month, she also praised him in a birthday tribute on social media, hailing him the man of her ‘dreams’.

‘Happy birthday to the man of my dreams, who lights up my world with his laughter and kind heart,’ she penned on Instagram.

‘You have shown me that no great love is not bravely fought for.

‘Thank you for always being by my side and for being the most loving and supportive partner.’

Sanchez was previously married to Hollywood talent mogul Patrick Whitesell, 58, from 2005 until 2019.

He’s now married to 39-year-old model Pia Miller.

Meanwhile, Bezos’s got a whopping $37billion (£29.8bn) in the divorce, half of which she pledged to charity.

In March 2021, she walked down the aisle again with teacher Dan Jewerr, but they parted ways earlier this year.
