Batman Unburied, an upcoming Spotify-exclusive podcast created in partnership with Warner Bros. and DC Comics, is scheduled to debut on May 3.

Created and executive produced by The Dark Knight‘s David S. Goyer, the series, which stars Winston Duke as Bruce Wayne, will premiere more than a year following Spotify’s multi-year agreement with DC Comics and Warner Bros. to produce a slate of scripted podcasts. Additional series will focus on Wonder Woman, Lois Lane, Catwoman and Batgirl.

Batman Unburied promises to take listeners on a “new journey deep into the mind of Bruce Wayne, introducing a slew of dark twists and turns with a number of classic Batman super villains,” according to a release. “Working as a forensic pathologist in the bowels of Gotham Hospital, the superhero must not only face his own mental demons, but also overcome them in order to save the citizens of Gotham.”

Alongside Duke, the English-language version of the podcast will feature Hasan Minhaj as The Riddler, Jason Isaacs as Alfred, Gina Rodriguez as Barbara Gordon, Lance Reddick as Thomas Wayne, Toks Olagundoye as Martha Wayne, John Rhys-Davies as Dr. Hunter and Ashly Burch as Vicki Vale.

“Through our extraordinary partnership with Warner Bros. and DC, we have the unique opportunity to usher in a new era of the universally beloved DC Super Heroes through the world of audio, voiced by all-star casts,” said Dawn Ostroff, Chief Content & Advertising Business Officer at Spotify, in a statement. “The power of podcasts has never been more evident than it is with David Goyer’s spine-chilling soundscape masterpiece that tells the transcendent story of the one and only Bruce Wayne.”

Spotify has also created eight adaptions of the original English series for Brazil, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and Mexico, each with casts of their own. Playing Batman in the aforementioned countries are Rocco Pitanga (Brazil), Dali Benssalah (France), Murathan Muslu (Germany), Amit Sadh (India), Ario Bayu (Indonesia), Claudio Santamaria (Italy), Ryohei Otani (Japan) and Alfonso Herrera (Mexico).
