Arctic Monkeys have been forced to cancel a gig just days before their big Glastonbury slot.

They were due to perform tomorrow (June 20) at Marley Park in Dublin, Ireland, on their latest date as part of their ongoing stadium tour.

However, the band announced on Monday (June 19) that lead star Alex Turner, 37, has been ordered to rest.

He’s come down with laryngitis, which is inflammation of the larynx (voice box). and is, understandably, a nightmare for any singer.

It comes as they gear up to play at Worthy Farm on Friday (June 23), joining other big stars such as Sir Elton John, Guns N’ Roses, Lizzo, and Lana Del Rey.

Arctic Monkeys offered their apologies to fans in a statement.

Glastonbury has been contacted for comment.
