Retro palettes that are signature to the Jordan Brand catalog have a tendency of navigating their way onto modernized sneakers. One is the “Bordeaux” color scheme which was originally communicated through the Air Jordan 7 in 1992 and later reincarnated on the Air Jordan 6 in 2021. And now its classic arrangement is making its way onto the court as an Air Jordan 37 “Bordeaux” colorway has just been revealed by way of official imagery.

Like its muse, a majority of the real estate here leans on darker neutral tones for stylization. Toe boxes and side panels are formed with a Lenoweave build and come dressed with a blend of white and muted gray while the collars and laces are drenched in solid black. Wine-inspired titular accents are pronounced across the throat, partially on the tongues as well as the exposed, interior bootie. Subtle pops of yellow and teal hits show face on the tongues while more vivid green and blue pops are positioned on the treading.

At the time of writing, a release date for these hardwood-ready kicks hasn’t been announced, but we can likely see Nike and other retailers launching these in 2023.
