adidas Football is kicking off the new year with a fresh iteration of its classic Predator Precision Archive boot — bringing the boot back in an all-new colorway for a limited time only.

When looking into the heritage of Predator boots, legendary players like Zinedine Zidane spring to mind — this is best remembered through the all-gold Predator boot the baller wore during the 2006 World Cup. In more recent times, Lionel Messi has made the Speedportal X his own — granted, in a more revitalized fashion — to take the game to new heights. Now, this latest reissue of the Predator Precision uses a color construct synonymous with English football legend, David Beckham.

The look of the new Precision takes on a bold new colorway — one that featured on Beckham’s Predator LZ boots during his time at LA Galaxy in 2012. The model’s “Ftwr White/Core Black/Team Shock Pink” color scheme features a white base laying the foundations for black branding and rubber elements, while speckles of pink are coated over the tongue to light up the design.

As is customary with contemporary adidas reissues, the boot blends old elements with revitalized technology. For example, the silhouette features the classic fold-over tongue that has been a stand-out feature during the Predator’s timeline alongside stitched-on rubber footpads that have been taken from the Predator Freak silhouette. Rounding off the design, a split outsole is used to keep players firm on the pitch.

You can take a closer look at the new adidas Predator Precision above and it will be available on the official adidas website from February 1 for approximately $270 USD.
