Strictly Come Dancing star Aljaz Skorjanec has sparked a frenzy on social media after posting a sweet snap with his wife Janette Manrara and their godchild in a gushing post. The duo had travelled back to Aljaz’s native Slovenia where they attended the tot’s baptism and spent Christmas with family. Their adorable post led to many Strictly fans commenting over what brilliant parents the couple would be to their own child one day.

In view of his 531,000 followers, the Strictly star marked the special day.

Aljaz wrote: “Christening of our little Tisa today.

“Family time is everything!

“Proud of becoming her godfather and godmother,” he added.

The first picture featured the Strictly duo holding their new godchild, Tisa.

Wearing a green leopard-print wrap dress, Janette grinned from ear to ear as she cosied up to her beau.

Holding baby Tisa behind a celebratory cake, Aljaz looked overjoyed to be named as godfather.

In the next few snaps, Aljaz could be seen holding his goddaughter while she was baptised.

Fans of the favourite Strictly couple couldn’t help but gush over the sweet snap, with one remarking that it won’t be long before they’re parents themselves.

Instagram user bridgetodaranile wrote: “Awww bless you both, I’ll keep my fingers crossed that one day it’ll be your turn real soon xx.”

johowe1995 commented: “You both look so proud. You will make fabulous parents one day,” followed by a heart emoji.

Janette also took to her own Instagram to mark the holiday season with her 494,000 followers.

Posting a snap with little Tisa sitting next to the Christmas tree, Janette affectionately kissed the top of the tot’s head.

She captioned the post: “Christmas w/ these cuties was fun.”

Commenting on the adorable snap, footienut77 wrote: “You will have your own cutie next year!”

While grocottpaul penned: “Your turn in 2022? You’ll make the best parents.”

Earlier this year Janette told how she and Aljaz want to “keep things private” when it comes to their baby plans.

Speaking about the subject, Janette said: “I don’t mind talking about it now and then, but not when it becomes the sole topic of conversation – especially as a woman.”

She added: “Whenever people say, ‘Janette, when are you going to have a baby?’ I’m like, ‘Well, firstly, it’s ‘we’, it’s both of us.'” she told The Mirror.
