Whitney Port-Rosenman has revealed she is considering IVF after experiencing three miscarriages.

The 36 year old US TV personality shared the personal news to her Instagram followers on Sunday 9 January.

Whitney was responding to questions from her fans and one posed the question as to whether the mum-of-one will be considering taking IVF (in vitro fertilisation) in the future.

She emphatically wrote: "Yes, so we can have another one of these crazies." The response was accompanied by a sweet snap of her son Sonny, four, whom she shares with her TV producer husband Tim Rosenman, 42.

The Hills star continued: "Someone asked me if I feel strongly that we are missing another member of the fam or if we would be ok with one so I thought I'd merge the two."

She added: "Lately I have been feeling this insane sense of gratitude for him. And we will be more than ok if we just have Sonny, but we want to do the discovery and get all the information to see what the process for a second could be."

This followed the tragic news that her doctor was unable to find a heartbeat, after the reality star was expecting her second child.

The star declared in the Instagram Story: "We want Sonny to have a sibling but we are not gong to sacrifice our whole happiness to have it."

The fashion influencer also pointed her followers to a previous episode she recorded for her With Whit podcast. In the episode she states: "I recorded a very raw audio diary on my phone about how I was feeling."

in her Instagram Stories, Whitney also candidly responded to questions about how she felt after her three miscarriages.

The star explained: "Each one I had, I had different reactions. The first one, I felt slightly relieved, don't know why, felt like a monster for not feeling ready for number #2 but the second and third ones have been just heartbreaking and it's all about giving yourself grace to go through the various steps of grieving."

"And telling those around you the you need extra love and possibly even space that the moment", Whitney continued.

She also offered advice to fans and wrote: "Take your time to figure out your next steps and don't rush into anything because of outside voices. Just heal your body and your spirit and you can reconvene."
