Things are said to be hotting up between AJ Odudu and her Strictly Come Dancing partner Kai Widdrington, with a source claiming an official romance between them looking likely.
The presenter, 33, has been paired up with 26 year old Kai for this year's series and as they've wowed on the dancefloor, fans have pointed out that the duo have an undeniable chemistry in front of the camera.
This has left many viewers convinced that the pair will become romantically involved and a source has now said it’s “only a matter of time” before they take their relationship to the next level.
A source told The Sun: “Everyone backstage is talking about the sparks flying between AJ and Kai. It’s very passionate and intense whenever they’re together.
"They’re both single and have really hit it off and everyone on the show is saying it’s only a matter of time.”
“They’re always laughing and flirting — romance is 100 per cent on the cards,” they continued. “Kai is totally AJ’s type. He’s got loads of banter and he’s been blown away by her, too. She’s always been really work-orientated and put her career first and now her two worlds have collided.”
AJ has previously spoken about her dating life and said that she doesn’t meet people other than on the TV shows she does.
She also spoke of liking “charismatic guys", as she admitted: “I’m still hoping that I’ll meet my man through a friend. I am a personality girl.”

“I like charismatic guys who can take the mickey out of themselves but, when it comes to work, they are focused and they know what they want in themselves and in a partner,” AJ continued.
It Takes Two host Janette Manrara previously quizzed the duo on their relationship, in the wake of Kai telling AJ that he loves her after one of their performances.
She said to AJ and Kai: “Speaking of romance and the characters, you were both saying you wanted to bring romance to the floor and I think you really did because Kai you said this at the end of the performance…” before showing them the clip where he appears to confess his love for AJ.
Failing to properly dismiss the idea of having feelings for AJ, Kai replied: “I think that was all down to just the tough, tough week that we had and the fact that we got to the end of the performance and it was flawless and you smashed it, and you did all the lifts brilliant, did all the technique perfect.”
AJ echoed his sentiments, saying: “We were both just relieved, you were just gripping onto my neck!”
