How Strictly’s Bobby Brazier copies Rolling Stone idol Mick Jagger (and they even have the same snake hips and trademark pout!)

He’s got the same snake-hips, trademark pout and dynamic stage presence.

No wonder there is now a clamour for Bobby Brazier to be cast as Mick Jagger in any biopic of the Rolling Stones legend.

Fans of Strictly have become obsessed with the uncanny likeness between EastEnders star Brazier, 20, and Sir Mick at the same age.

TikTok users have been sharing videos comparing the pair – and gaining millions of views.

They first noted the similarity during Brazier’s samba to Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton, which he performed with his dance partner Dianne Buswell last month.

Groover: Bobby has even been told by the Strictly judges he is like a mini Mick Jagger thanks to his snake-like hips

One social media user wrote: ‘Bobby Brazier has to be a young Mick Jagger! Those hips! Those lips!’

A second viewer said: ‘Watching Strictly and if someone doesn’t cast Bobby Brazier as Mick Jagger sometime soon, they are missing a trick.’

Meanwhile, another fan wrote: ‘Calling it now. Bobby Brazier playing Mick Jagger in a Stones’ biopic in the next five years. Someone get writing it.’

During last week’s Halloween episode of Strictly, 20-year-old Brazier’s hips took centre stage once again when he performed the cha-cha-cha to Come On-A My House by Rosemary Clooney.

Fans were so blown away by the actor’s likeness to Jagger, they even said they thought Brazier – son of the late reality star Jade Goody and television presenter Jeff Brazier – was one of Jagger’s children.

Brazier, a former model before he was snapped up by EastEnders to play Freddie Slater last year, is also regularly seen wearing blazers, flat caps and scarves – just like Sir Mick, 80, did in his younger days.

It was after Bobby joined EastEnders last year in the role of Freddie Slater – having an immediate impact on viewing figures – and then won a National Television Award for Best Newcomer, that BBC chiefs decided to sign him up for Strictly.

‘Everyone loves him – young people, old people, boys, girls, women and men,’ a source told the Mail On Sunday.

‘There are big plans for him. He has the ability to act, but also take part in digital content, which appeals to the youngsters. He has become a star on EastEnders and if the bosses have their way, he is going nowhere for a very long time.’

Within the BBC, Brazier is cited as the reason why hundreds of thousands of teenagers are now tuning into EastEnders, where his character is a cheeky charmer rather like himself.
