Meghan Markle has been seen cradling her blossoming baby bump while answering hard-hitting questions from Oprah Winfrey in the trailer for the tell-all interview.

Prince Harry, 36, and his 39 year old wife rocked the nation when they announced they were stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020 and further shocked when they decided to make the change permanent this year.

Since then, they've moved their lives to the US, making a home in Montecito, California, with their nearly-one year old son Archie.

Now, in a trailer for an explosive interview with talk show host Oprah Winfrey, 67, Meghan and Harry can be seen speaking openly about their experience in the public eye as the TV presenter said: "I just want to make it clear to everybody, there is no subject off limits."

In one of two brief clips of the chat published by CBS broadcast network, Meghan could be seen wearing a gorgeous black V-neck midi dress with a white pattern on the shoulder.

The former Suits actress styled her mane back into a low bun, allowing strands to fall loose and frame her face, while she accessorised with a pendant necklace and several bracelets.

Oprah could be heard asking Meghan: "Were you silent or were you silenced?" and later said at one point that her experience appeared "almost unsurvivable, sounds like there was a breaking point."

Later, Prince Harry, whose brother has not spoken to him in "some time", could be heard referencing his mother Princess Diana as he said: "My biggest concern was history repeating itself."

He later added: "I'm just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side because I can't begin to imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process by herself all those years ago.

"Because it's been unbelievably tough for the two of us but at least we have each other."

As the interview came to a close, Oprah said: "You've said some pretty shocking things here."

It comes as Prince Harry recently claimed that he and Meghan "never walked away" from the Royal Family and it was "stepping back rather than stepping down" when they relocated.

In a candid interview on an open-top bus with Late Late Show host James Corden, he said he did "what any husband or father would do" when they made the difficult decision.
