Fan throws their mother’s ashes on stage at Pink concert
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, launched into a furious rant after one X, formerly known as Twitter, user tagged her in a post writing: “Happy birthday Pink” above an image of British comedian Eddie Izzard.
The Grammy-winning artist celebrated her 44th birthday on September 8 but the belated wishes on Tuesday morning infuriated the pop star.
She wrote in response: “Thank you so much. I just showed my 12-year-old daughter your post. I explained to her that I’ve never met you, I don’t know you, and I have no idea why you would go out of your way to be hateful.
“It was a good lesson in ignorance. Thank you. I still don’t know you. Congrats.”
The Hollywood star signed off with a fiery: “You’re no one.”

In a second post, the Platinum-selling artist continued: “MOST IMPORTANTLY – what a wasted opportunity here.
“There are so many pictures you could’ve chosen that were actually me that were worse than this picture, you nameless f**ko. At least be creative next time dum dum.”
The vicious response received over one million views on the platform but didn’t quite get the public reaction the So What singer may have been expecting.
One fan hit back: “Nothing wrong with Eddie Izzard either. They are a pretty amazing person and they look fab in this photo.”

A second agreed, adding: “I should also like to point out there is absolutely nothing wrong with the person in that photo as well. Seems like they want to make fun of them and that is hurtful to that person too.”
Others supported the rockstar, as one added to the rant saying: “The sad part about it is that your daughter is probably more mature than the middle-aged adult who did this,” while another simply declared: “People suck” with an upside-down smiley face emoji.
As one added to that saying: “People are really the worst,” Pink revealed she wasn’t quite done with her brutal response.
She replied to the comment: “Yes. Some. What these kind of people are, are anonymous, lonely, and miserable. But most people are smart, good, and rad.” (sic)
As the backlash continued to pour in, with some seemingly taking Pink’s statements as aimed at Eddie rather than the original user who posted the mocking comment, the mother-of-one ended her Monday evening with an explanation.
She concluded: “I post these things to show the kids I know – my own kids as well, that we are all occasionally treated badly. I show them because they know me, and they know that my self-esteem does not rely on the opinions of others. Nor does it rely on how many tickets I sell. Good/bad. Whatever. I love Me.
“Now I shall sleep really really well. Night night.”
The Daily Express has contacted Eddie Izzard’s representatives for comment.
