Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has revealed she questioned whether she was asexual for a number of years before meeting her husband Carter Reum.

The reality TV star, 42, opened up on her thoughts in a recent interview, saying anything sexual "terrified" her during her 20s, despite her reputation.

The hotel heiress, great-granddaughter of the founder of Hilton Hotels, was often linked with other big names in the industry, including poker player Rick Salomon whom she dated and had a sex tape leaked with.

She was also rumoured to have been dating Leonardo DiCaprio, Nick Carter and

before she met her current husband Carter in 2019.

Speaking with Harper's Bazaar about her past, she said: "I was known as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me. I called myself the ‘kissing bandit’ because I only liked to make out. A lot of my relationships didn’t work out because of that."

And she revealed it was only on meeting Carter that she changed her mind.

"It wasn’t until Carter that I finally am not that way,” Paris continued. "I enjoy hooking up with my husband."

She explained how her man is the opposite of what she had previously been used to in her search for love, saying: "He’s not famous. He’s smart. He comes from a nice family. He’s a good person."

Paris recently surprised fans after she announced the birth of her and Carter's son last month, whom they welcomed through surrogacy.

Posting a photo of a tiny hand wrapped around her manicured thumb, she wrote in the caption: "You are already loved beyond words," followed by a blue heart emoji.

Speaking to People magazine about taking the next step in her marriage to Carter, she said: "It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other."

Confirming the gender of their newborn, she added: "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."

The new parents, who tied the knot back in 2021 with a lavish ceremony, recently went on their first date night since welcoming their son, as they attended the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Paris donned a sparkling Celine gown for the star-studded event, which featured a cut out section to show off her midriff and thin straps.

Meanwhile, Carter couldn't keep his eyes off his stunning wife as he kept his arms around her while wearing a black patterned tuxedo, complete with a bowtie.

Paris also took to her Instagram feed to show photos of herself posing in the gown while with her other half.

"Mom and Dad’s first night out #Sliving," she captioned the snaps alongside a red heart emoji, pink heart emoji and stars emoji.
