More than a year ago, a Southern Charm cast shakeup stunned fans as several stars quit the series.

Among them was Naomie Olindo. who not only left the show last year but very recently moved to New York with her boyfriend.

Their three year relationship has ended just weeks after their move.

Naomie accuses Metul Shah of cheating, and says that this betrayal is one of the worst experiences in her life.

Paul Desisto is Naomie Olindo’s agent, and gave a statement to People on her behalf.

“Naomie and Metul are no longer together,” Desisto confirmed.

“She is back in Charleston,” he added, “and plans to stay there for the time being.”

This spring, Naomie and Metul began their “farewell tour” of Charleston.

This came a little over a year after Metul received a fellowship will Weill Cornell Medical College.

With three years of dating under their belts, Naomie opted to move with him, though she knew that it would be an adjustment.

Naomie also took to her Instagram Stories earlier this week to share a more personal message.

There, she expressed her feelings of betrayal after finding evidence of Metul’s cheating.

She had, Naomie confirmed, come across a number of incriminating messages, and knew that many fans may have seen them.

“Nothing will be worse than losing my dad,” Naomie acknowledged.

“But,” she expressed, “this is a close second.”

Naomie added: “Betrayal is never easy for anyone.”

“And,” Naomie continued, “I’m just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages.”

“I’m absolutely positive I will regret posting this tomorrow,” she admitted.

“But so many of you have reached out saying you’re feeling a similar pain,” Naomie pointed out. “I’m so so sorry.”

Deux Moi, an Instagram page known for reliable leaks, shared a report that Metul Shah was “cheating with his ex.”

It was apparent from a screenshot of an alleged text message exchange that he was back in touch with an ex.

He had apparently sent various “vile” messages to her.

“I am so thankful for all of the support you guys are giving me right now,” Naomie shared on Tuesday, July 13.

“Trust me I need it,” she confessed.

“This is incredibly embarrassing and I feel so lost,” Naomie added.

Naomie also told fans: “I just ask that you please stop sending/saying hateful things to Metul.”

“I have self-respect,” she affirmed.

“And,” Naomie reassured her followers, she “will not be getting back together with him.”

“But he is also in a terrible place,” Naomie pointed out.

Metul is “dealing with the consequences of his actions.”

“Please don’t be mean,” Naomie pleaded. “He is human, and this situation is punishment enough.”

Naomie knows that her own suffering is magnified because she is a public figure, and that the same goes for Metul by association.

When she joined Southern Charm in Season 3, she knew what she was signing up for.

She remained a Bravolebrity even after she quit the show.

One of the motivations behind Naomie departing the series was her fears that reality stardom could hurt her relationship.

After the nasty rumors about Cameran Eubanks’ husband, that was a reasonable concern.

Unfortunately, it seems that Naomie’s relationship did not need any help from Kathryn Dennis or Bravo to fall apart. She deserves better.
