Mick Norcross was laid to rest yesterday in a small ceremony with close friends and family. The former reality star, who appeared in The Only Way Is Essex and owned nightclub The Sugar Hut, died last month at the age of 57.
His son Mason penned an emotional message online before the funeral.
In view of his 8,579 Instagram followers, he thanked his father for everything he had done for him and his family.
He said: “Thank you for teaching me everything you did.”
Adding, “There will not be a day that goes by where I won’t think about you.”
His post began: “To my dad today is the day we put you to rest.
“I am truly lost for words you was my everything I am so grateful for everything you done for all of us you was the best dad a boy could ever ask for!
“You was such a strong man there was so many things I wanted to say to you.
“I didn’t ever think this day would come that I would have to write this,” he continued.
“Ever since I left school you always wanted me in work and I tried my best everyday to go because I know i would be expecting a phone call, you would always check on me everyday no matter how bad your day was, you would keep it strong and I am so happy for that.
“I will try so hard for you dad and I will look after mum and Hollie forever like you always told me to,” Mason added.
“Thank you for teaching me everything you did.

“There will not be a day that goes by where I won’t think about you you have took a part from me that I will never get back, you was one special man and loved by so many.
“I wish I could thank you for everything you done for me you gave me the best 19 years a boy could ever ask for, I will love you forever dad until we meet again,” he signed off with love.
Father-of-four Mick is also dad to The Only Way Is Essex co-star Kirk Norcross, 32, as well as Hollie and Daniel.
Mick was found dead at his home on January 21.
He owned The Sugar Hut nightclub in Brentwood, Essex, which was often the setting for TOWIE nights out.
Mick made an appearance on the show, joining his eldest son, during the second series back in 2011.
He regularly starred in the programme until 2013.
