They might have competed against each other on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2020, but Maisie Smith and boyfriend, Max George, were quickstepping the dance of love with one another by the Louvre in Abu Dhabi.
The lovebirds, who have been dating since last summer, couldn't take their eyes off one another as they swirled by the pool with Maisie captioning the shot with "Twirls at the Lourve," showing her one million Instagram followers another update in their ongoing love story.
Among the comments, many were speculating that family might need to go hat shopping soon, with one saying: "He's gonna propose," and another saying: "My advice is get a ring on her finger, you're obviously in love and life is too short."
A legion of fans followed with gushing posts about "how cute", "stunning" and what a "beautiful couple" the pair are.
Maisie, 21, looked effortlessly chic as always, wearing a high split, fitted maxi dress, complete with just one-shoulder detailing.
She completed her look with chunky trainers, stylish sunglasses and a relaxed, messy bun.
Max, 34, was in full holiday mode, wearing a loose string vest and relaxed, patterned linen-style trousers.
Maisie and Max jetted off to the middle eastern location to spend quality time together after Maisie returned from her recent trip to Paris.
It's unclear why the actress was visiting the city of love without her beau, but she managed to put together a breathtaking Burberry fashion look by the Eiffel Tower while she was visiting, before heading back to meet her love for a trip together in the sun.
Whilst the young couple haven't made the next steps in their relationship official, Max managed to send shockwaves around The Chase studio, when the couple featured on a pre-recorded episode of The Chase Celebrity Special last weekend.
When host Bradley Walsh figured out the pair were acquainted, he said: "So you've known each other before this then?," to which Max jokingly replied: "Yeah we know each other a little bit."
But what host, Maisie and the entire studio weren't expecting was what Max had up his sleeve – or rather, in his pocket.
Bradley jokingly asked: "So when's the big day?" To which, Max, quick as a flash, replied: "Funny you mention it," as he reached into his pocket, implying he was about to pull out a ring and propose to the red-haired beauty.
Fits of giggles filled the studio when everyone realised he was playing a prank – for now.
The pair, who have been dating since August 2022 when they were caught kissing on a flight, have dismissed claims that the 13-year age gap is causing them any issues, with boyfriend Max saying Maisie is a "consenting 21-year-old woman."
Maisie was also in agreeance with the ex-boybander, saying: "I don't notice the age difference and neither do my friends or family. My mum Julia is the one who reads through all the comments. I got a message from her yesterday, saying: 'Just ignore them, you two were made for each other.'"
The pair grew close after filming the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, after they both starred on the main show in 2020.
