Faye Winter and boyfriend Teddy Soares are trapped in the cold this Christmas, after their planned holiday fell apart.

The couple, who met during 2021's summer series of Love Island before narrowly missing out on the top prize, were scheduled to head abroad this month to grab themselves some sunshine, yet the technicalities of taking their beloved pet pooch Bonnie with them soon put an end to those hopes.

Opening up on the situation, the 27 year old told her Instagram followers: "Guys… the last four weeks have not been my friend. Someone up there tell me you hate me because this is a lot.

"We were meant to be going away for Christmas – [we] can't go because it was going to be the three of us and Bonnie needed a jab, but I didn't realise that the rabies jabs aren't done with their normal jabs every year."

A flustered Faye went on to add: "I actually didn't know that, I know that now. You need it 29 days before you go so we left it too long.

"So now I've been trying to work out Christmas and I'm obviously going to go down to Devon, Teddy's gonna join me."

Three could soon become four in the Faye/Teddy household, as earlier this year, the reality TV stars discussed the possibility of children in the future.

"I’ve always been a woman who said children won’t define me," Faye exclusively told OK!

"If I don’t have children, I would never let it affect me or my life – Teddy’s mum recently said she wanted to move to Portugal and I was like, 'When are you going? Because when we have children you better believe they’re having a passport at birth so they can go out there and you can look after them!'

"She has brought up four amazing children pretty much by herself. I would love to have children but if it didn’t happen for us, or we were too involved in ourselves, it wouldn’t define me."

Teddy, 28, who's also previously addressed the pair's fiery Love Island experience, chipped in with: "I do think about it all the time, especially the older I’ve got. My friend’s baby recently turned one and it makes me think about the future, and I feel I’ve found The One, so naturally I’m going to think about what’s next. I want a minimum of three, I think!"

In the same interview, the 28 year old senior financial consultant pinpointed the most difficult aspect of living in the spotlight.

"I think we’ve come so far as a society but seeing any racial slurs towards us and questioning our relationship based on our colour is ridiculous. That’s been the hardest thing," revealed Teddy.

"The thing that keeps us on the happy straight and narrow is we have each other and know how much we mean to each other, and also our families."
