Love Island star Andrew Le Page has said that he'll never regret getting a matching tattoo with girlfriend Tasha Ghouri as he insisted that they won't ever break up.

Andrew, 28, met girlfriend Tasha, 24, on this year's series of the ITV2 dating show, with the pair finishing in fourth place.

Since then they've gone from strength-to-strength, even going so far as to get matching tattoos, which Andrew says he'll never regret getting.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Andrew explained the reason behind their rose tattoos and revealed that it was ultimately his idea.

He said: "She said she was going to get a tattoo and I said 'what you thinking?', she said she was getting a rose to represent our time in the villa and I was like 'would you mind if I got it with you?' So I guess it was kind of my idea but she was going to get it anyway."

As he answered questions from fans, one asked if he's worried he'll regret getting the permanent inking if he and Tasha were to split up.

"I don't think we're going to break up, there's not a doubt in my mind. I think I'll be marrying her one day, hopefully soon. But obviously not too soon. But no, I'm not worried. I'm pretty certain I'm going to marry that girl," he explained.

Andrew added that even in the circumstance of a break up, the tattoo would still serve as a reminder of good memories.

He continued: "God forbid, if we do [break up], I'm not worried [about the tattoos]. Going on Love Island was such a huge, huge thing for anyone to go on a show like that.

"And Tasha, let's be honest, was pretty much my whole experience. Started off together, obviously had a little blip in Casa but didn't take us long to get back together. And we've been inseparable ever since."

Since getting the matching tattoos, Andrew has returned to the studio to get more ink in tribute to his girlfriend.

Andrew teased the ink on his Instagram story and hours later shared the design, which features “I love you” in British Sign Language with Tasha's cochlear implant wrapped around it.

Sharing a picture of the sweet tattoo on her Twitter, Tasha wrote: “So Andrew came home and surprised me with his new tattoo, I actually can’t even!!!!!!! How beautiful.

“It’s “ily” in BSL with my cochlear implant wrapped around.”
