Lorraine Kelly, 61, mocked Brooklyn Beckham's The Today Show appearance where he made a breakfast sandwich.
The presenter poked fun at the 22 year old star, saying he would be coming onto her show to make 'beans on toast' after he showed viewers how to make an English breakfast sandwich on the US daytime programme.
Lorraine spoke to Hollywood correspondent Ross King on her programme on Thursday morning, where she joked Brooklyn's creation was "absolutely fascinating".
Speaking about the segment, Lorraine said it was The Today Show hosts Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly's overenthusiastic reaction to Brooklyn's sandwich that made the segment even more uncomfortable.
Lorraine said: "I thought at first this was a spoof, but it's not. He looked all embarrassed, the wee soul… He's coming in here tomorrow to make beans on toast… Bonkers!"
Brooklyn's cooking demonstration baffled viewers of the Today Show on Wednesday after he "assembled a sandwich" during the live appearance.
The youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham shared his recipe for the sandwich after telling the hosts that it was something he "learned from his great-grandma".
Brooklyn mentioned that he developed a passion for cooking whilst in the Covid lockdown and then began posting videos to his social media of him creating different dishes.
Despite The Today Show hosts being more than enthusiastic about the breakfast sandwich, viewers weren't as convinced about the creation as some described it as "pointless".
One fan said: "Brooklyn Beckham went on tv to show his culinary skills and cooked……a breakfast sandwich! I am done!"
As another write: "Brooklyn Beckham is on the Today Show, cooking breakfast. Gee. I wonder how that happened."
Piers Morgan had a comment to make too as he said: "Worst, most utterly pointless segment in morning television history?"
Brooklyn didn't cook any of the meat for the sandwich as he used pre-prepared bacon and sausages for the filling but he did fry the eggs live on-air.
The segment ended with him assembling his pre-prepared meat on a piece of unbuttered, untoasted white bread, then adding the fried eggs, and completing it with a helping of ketchup and a second piece of bread.
Brooklyn's mum Victoria sparked food controversy last month by revealing during an interview that her favourite food is a piece of multigrain toast topped with salt.
She said that despite sounding "boring", she can't get enough of the snack.
