Perfect match: Sophie Turner and husband Joe Jonas both wear black as they co-ordinate glamorous looks for Vanity Fair Oscars party

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner commanded attention on Sunday night when they arrived at the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscar Party in matching black outfits.

Jonas, 33, donned a black velvet suit adorned with floral embellishments around his ankles and pockets, while Turner, 27, rocked a sparkling sheer black dress that featured diaphanous caped shoulders.

The Game of Thrones alum’s fair complexion was intensified by shimmering smokey eyes and a blush lip, while her rock star husband wore his tousled raven locks combed back.

Striking couples: Joe Jonas, 33, and Sophie Turner, 27, commanded attention on Sunday night when they arrived at the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where James Corden, 44, and his wife Julia Carey, 46, looked dapper in classic attire

The pair, who have two young children, were soon joined by the victorious stars of the evening, as Hollywood’s newly crowned Oscar winners left the Dolby Theatre and made their way over to Vanity Fair’s legendary bash.

Brendan Fraser cemented his incredible career comeback as he took home Best Actor for The Whale, giving an emotional acceptance speech from the podium.

Michelle Yeoh made history as the first Best Actress winner to identify as Asian, since prior winners Merle Oberon and Vivien Leigh both kept their ancestry a secret.

Yeoh’s win for Everything Everywhere All at Once was the highpoint of a triumphant night for the acclaimed film, as it swept seven categories, including Best Picture and Best Director for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.

Michelle’s co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan both won Best Supporting for their respective acting categories.

The surprise upset by Curtis elicited a crestfallen reaction from fellow nominee Angela Basset, which quickly went viral.

Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 95th Academy Awards, delivering an epic opening monologue that skewered last year’s infamous slap, Nicole Kidman’s AMC deal, and Hollywood’s obsession with Ozempic.

In a major update, the Oscar’s iconic red carpet was switched to the color of champagne, with the Academy’s creative team saying that it evokes the feeling of joy.

Fantastic four: Ke Huy Quan, Michelle Yeoh, Brendan Fraser, and Jamie Lee Curtis (pictured left to right) won acting Oscars

This year, seven of the 20 acting nominees were people of color, including Best Actress Michelle Yeoh and her Everything Everywhere All At Once castmates Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Quan.

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences will surely celebrate a best-picture field populated with blockbusters; according to data firm Comscore, their collective domestic box office of $1.574 billion is the most ever at the time of nominations.

Last year’s awards had been looking like a comeback edition before ‘the slap’ came to define the ceremony. In the aftermath, the academy banned Will Smith from attending for the next 10 years.

Though he could have still been nominated, Smith’s performance as a runaway slave in Emancipation didn’t catch on with voters.
