Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara, 37, has taken to Instagram to issue an apology in advance of watching her husband Aljaz Skorjanec, 31, perform as part of the Here Comes The Boys production. The show debuted last night at The London Palladium after being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic putting all theatre productions on hold.

Taking to the platform, the star wrote in her stories for her 434,000 fans to see.

She said: “So excited to watch my husband and all my friends finally on stage!”

The star went on to admit that it was going to be an “emotional evening” for her and that it had been a long time since she had last seen her Strictly beau perform.

Janette continued: “It’s going to be emotional tonight.

“It’s been too long and things are still being cancelled all the time so I will have my heart filled with joy to see that at least these wonderful human beings who were able to put this together, will be dancing for all of us who miss it so much tonight!”

The dance pro ended the story by wishing the dance troupe good luck and apologising for her behaviour in advance.

She added: “Good luck to this entire team!

“I will be screaming (Apologies ahead of time to those sat near me!)” Janette said.

In the next few slides, the star went on to post screenshots of the performance, including clips of Aljaz performing with dancer Nadiya Bychkova.

“These two together are [fire]”, she wrote, with a flame emoji.

“So proud of them!” she penned as her husband spun the dancer round.

Over the next few slides, Janette revealed that she has plans to see the show for the second time this evening.

She wrote: “I loved watching the show last night! Cannot wait to watch again tonight!” she added over a clip of Aljaz performing with Nadiya.

Recently Janette also took to social media to share her relief over having her holiday in Portugal to distract her as she spoke out about some sad news.

The dancer posted her emotional reaction to the announcement that the already delayed Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals Tour has been cancelled again amid the coronavirus pandemic.

She wrote: “I am truly grateful to have this holiday to distract me from the heavy sadness I have in my heart that this is not going forward…

“I have missed dancing more then I can ever explain, but unfortunately hard decisions have been made by higher ups.”

She added: “I apologise on my part for not being able to dance for you all.

“It was out of my hands.

“I know the universe works in mysterious ways so I trust in it and pray to be dancing again for you all soon.”

Alongside a broken heart emoji and a crying face emoji, Janette added the hashtags: “#Heartbroken #TrustTheUniverse #GreatThingsWillCome.”
