Danielle Harold will join Josie Gibson in the Down The Tubes trial on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! following Grace Dent's shock exit.
Grace, 50, was set to face the trial with Josie, 38, after receiving the most votes from the public. However, it was announced on Monday, 27 November, that the food critic had sensationally quit the ITV show on "medical grounds".
It's now been revealed that ex-EastEnders star Danielle, 31, will team up with Josie in the trial, which will air during Monday's episode.
Richard Arnold shared the news on Good Morning Britain as he discussed Grace's departure.
He said: "It means of course that Josie will be facing the Down The Tubes trial tonight but she will not be facing it alone. Now that Grace has departed the camp, I can exclusively reveal that Danielle was the third most voted for campmate to take part in tonight's trial. Danielle and Josie will be taking part in Down The Tubes."
His announcement came shortly after news of Grace's exit broke, with ITV bosses releasing a statement confirming she'd left camp.
A show spokesperson said: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."
Grace, who is the first contestant to leave on this year's series of I'm A Celeb, admitted during Friday's (24 November) episode that she'd "had enough" and "wanted to go home".
Shortly before taking part in the Touchdown of Terror trial, Grace told her campmates: “I’ve had enough. I’ve completely had enough. I just want to go home.” Josie attempted to encourage her, saying: “It’ll be good for you. What an experience.”
Moments later in the Bush Telegraph, Grace then admitted: “I haven’t got a lot left in me at the moment. I’m just keeping on a face for everybody."
Grace sparked concern during Sunday's (26 November) episode, with many viewers spotting that she looked unfazed by the result of the public vote and had simply "zoned out".
As Ant and Dec announced she'd been voted for the upcoming trial, Grace's face remained unchanged while Josie let out a scream. Grace seemed upset or irritated about taking on the task, and she didn't say anything, while some of her campmates immediately got up to comfort her.
Taking to X, a viewer commented: "A bit worried about Grace Dent," while a second said: "I can see Grace leaving the camp soon, she looked so depressed and zoned out."
