Just weeks after dramatically quitting this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, Amanda Abbington has shown off her new transformation.
The 51-year-old took to Instagram to show her 140,000 followers her brand-new hairstyle after chopping off her hair.
The actress displayed an edgy new hairstyle as she posed for a selfie and pulled a look for the picture.
She captioned it: “Finally got a haircut…,” alongside shocked face emojis.
Amanda’s celebrity pals rushed to comment on the star’s new hairstyle, with Strictly pal Ellie Leach commenting: “Erm obsessed,” with fire emojis.

Amanda’s new look comes after she sensationally quit the BBC show after only four weeks of competing.
In October, it was revealed that she and her partner Giovanni Pernice would no longer be continuing in the competition.

She took to Instagram to release a statement and express her “deepest regret,” at leaving the show.
The mum-of-two put the decision down to “personal reasons,” and didn’t go into detail about why she had decided to opt out of the show.
She took the opportunity to thank her fellow celebrity contestants and said she would continue to cheer for them.
Amanda noticeably failed to mention her dance partner Giovanni, 33, sparking rumours of a fall-out between the pair.
Giovanni himself posted a picture of the pair on his own page and wished Amanda well after their time on Strictly was cut short.
The duo’s exit was confirmed on sister show It Takes Two after the two pulled out of their performance the week prior.
Host Fleur East read out a statement from a Strictly spokesperson, saying: “Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition.
“The show wishes her all the best for the future,” the statement concluded.
